This position is classified as non-exempt.
40 hours per week are standard.
Working hours will include Weekdays and Weekends.
Purpose:
Acts as the first point of contact to guests of the property, provides information and advice to guests, acts as an ambassador for the hotel, takes reservations, guest services, and telephone.
Indicators of Success:
Achievement of revenue and market share goals Superior Guest Service Index scores Areas of Responsibility:
Maintains working relationships and communicates with all Departments Resolves guest related problems quickly, efficiently, and courteously.
Welcome guests and check their details against their booking Allocate guests to their rooms and provide keys Answer phones from prospective customers and guests, take messages, deliver messages Complete administrative tasks such as filing and photocopying Respond to requests for help and information Provide light concierge services for hotel guests, such as make restaurant suggestions, help guests with directions, help arrange travel and information about local amenities and attractions Preparing room bills and ensuring prompt payments Checking guests out, taking payments, and returning deposits Nothing in this job description shall be deemed to give the Front Desk Clerk any right to be retained in the employment of Hillside Hospitality Group, LLC.
