Clinical Supervisor- ICPN-Chicago, ILSalary Range:

Summary:
The ICPN Clinical Supervisor is responsible for providing ongoing clinical and administrative supervision for ICPN team members under the direction of the ICPN Director.
As Clinical Supervisor, will provide crisis services for individuals at risk of being displaced from their current placement, ensures family and/or support staff is appropriately trained and have the tools needed to effectively implement the behavioral support plan for the individual.
Collects and analyzes data garnered from observations and from both formal and informal assessments.
The position will serve as a member of the Illinois Crisis Prevention Network team responsible for behavioral assessments, functional analyses, behavior program design and development (based upon ABA principles), data tracking and analyses, and ongoing monitoring of efficacy of the program plan.
Essential Functions:
Assessment of challenging behavior and needs of referrals.
Provides supervision to ICPN team members, ensuring comprehensive and effective services are rendered to the person in crisis, his/her family and other agency providers.
As warranted, ensures behavior plans and other interventions are meeting the individuals needs taking necessary action to address problems/concerns.
Consults with the ICPN Director and/or seeks assistance for problematic, chronic and intractable situations and conditions.
Design of Data Collection Systems:
Design and implement data collection forms and procedures, to best quantify behavior data across various environments and settings.
Data Analysis:
Plot and systematically analyze program and baseline data in terms of levels, trends, variability, and functional relationships.
Design of Personal Support Plans (PSP):
The Personal Support Plan may or may not include a formalized Behavior Support Plan.
Design these plans based upon functional and data analysis.
PSPs may be formal or informal, which may take the form of general behavior support strategies or a detailed set of procedures outlining a positive intervention.
Positive Interventions for Teaching Adaptive Behaviors:
Components include task analysis, identification of reinforcers, appropriate task prompts, schedule(s) of reinforcement, procedures for generalization of learned skills, and design of an appropriate data collection system.
Design of Response Reduction Interventions:
Components include identification of intervention procedures that are the least intrusive techniques that will reduce the display of the targeted behavior.
Must be based upon adequate functional analysis, an appropriate data collection system, concurrent implementation of positive interventions to develop replacement behaviors, and demonstration of necessary skills by staff who did receive training.

Training:
Implementation of Interventions and/or to collect Data:
Training includes specific and detailed information and demonstration on how to conduct planned interventions and how to collect appropriate data, with appropriate return demonstration by staff.
Orientation Training:
Orientation training concerning basic principles of behavior analysis, overview of developmental disabilities and mental illness, dual diagnosis, etc.
Community-based Training:
Training may include crisis management techniques, advanced behavioral principles, management strategies.

Work closely with community agencies, schools, and Clinical Administrative Review Teams to ensure training in and implementation of necessary support strategies in the attempt to generalize these strategies from one setting to another.

Attend and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.

Program planning and development:
provide ongoing input into long-range plans for the Illinois Crisis Network Prevention.
10.
May assist in organizing and completing follow up surveys, and providing summary reports on the clinical outcomes established for the ICPN.
11.
Participate actively in problem-solving; provide solution-oriented and proactive recommendations; maintain effective and respectful interactions; communicate clearly and effectively; practice in accord with APA and BACB ethical standards.
12.
Maintain compliance with all applicable DHS regulations and licensure requirements.
13.
Assumes responsibility as a mandated reporter concerning incidents of purported abuse/neglect of individuals as outlined in the agency's policies and procedures.
14.
Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
MINIMUM
Qualifications:
Master's degree (Doctoral degree preferred) in applied behavior analysis or master's degree in related discipline (e.
g.
, clinical psychology).
Experience and or specialized knowledge in one or more of the following:
Developmental Disabilities; Autism Spectrum Disorders; Intellectual Disability (MR).
Knowledge of psychopharmacology and/or Mental Health issues also helpful.
Eligible for credentialing as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst through the Behavior Analysis Certification Board (certification within one year), or licensure eligible through the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation as an LCPC or LCSW (licensed within one year).
The ability to communicate clearly and effectively (both written and orally) in a professional manner, with all levels of employees (professionals, teachers, paraprofessionals, direct care, etc.
) Ability to interact effectively on a multidisciplinary team.
Five plus years working with individuals who have developmental disabilities, intellectual disability (MR) and autism and dual diagnosis (ID
Axis I) is preferred.
Five plus years experience in functional analyses, behavior program development/monitoring, and competency-based staff training procedures in program implementation.
At least 2 plus years providing supervision for others in a therapeutic setting.

Assumes responsibility as a mandated reporter concerning incidents of purported abuse/neglect of individuals as outlined in the agency's policies and procedures.
Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
WORKING CONDITIONS:

The work is performed primarily in an indoor office environment or in the community at various agencies and/or family homes.
2.
The work may include significant usage of a motor vehicle.
3.
The work may also require a moderate to high amount of noise (residential/day training settings).
In addition, the work may require flexible hours outside of normal business hours.
