Demonstrates appropriate academic planning Is objective and consistent in student assessment Implements district curriculum Sets objectives which are clear and student centered Creates lessons which follow a logical and orderly sequence Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of subject area(s) Motivates students Provides clear and concise directions Maximizes student learning and involvement Uses a variety of teaching methods to meet the needs of each student Maintains and encourages appropriate student behavior Establishes clear expectations for the students Deals fairly and consistently with student behavior problems Provides positive reinforcement Exhibits a positive and professional attitude Exercises general supervision over all students during school hours and at all school sponsored events Establishes and maintains an environment which is safe, orderly and is conducive to learning Cooperates with and is responsible to the principal Follows and implements district procedures and policies Participates in professional activities and organizations Actively seeks professional growth Plans for and utilizes support staff when applicable Demonstrates professional interactions with students and colleagues Accepts evaluation and redirection in a professional manner.
