Responsibilities:
Research, write content and create graphics for a variety of marketing channels, utilizing AI tools when possible.
Develop original content for both printed and video formats.
Manage the Catholic Cemeteries' social media accounts, including scheduling and creating engaging content.
Respond to and interact with Catholic Cemeteries' customers on behalf of the brand and support both current and prospective customers.
Collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualize innovative ideas for Catholic Cemeteries' online presence and ensure that content is aligned with marketing objectives.
Work closely with the Cemetery Services division as well as other departments to ensure that their documents and content are well-written, well-presented, accurate, usable and consistent with the Catholic Cemeteries' guidelines and quality standards.
Review all added content for accuracy, spelling and grammar and refine and repurpose existing content for social media and other marketing purposes.
Monitor consistency of all materials created with the Catholic Cemeteries established style and brand guidelines.
Keep up to date with the latest trends in digital content creation and contribute to data-driven decisions.
Assist with special projects and other administrative assignments as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree preferred in Marketing, New Media or a related field.
Consideration will be given to those without a degree but who have equivalent, verifiable work experience as a social media coordinator or a similar role.
Familiarity with online marketing strategies and marketing channels, and in-depth knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Power Point) required.
Working knowledge of Canva and the Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign) strongly preferred with the ability to learn new software as needed.
Working knowledge of social media platforms, especially Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google +, Google My Business, and YouTube.
Experience working with a wide range of creative formats, including image editing, video editing, graphic design and written copy strongly preferred.
Member of the Catholic Church with an understanding of Catholic faith practices preferred.
Ability to work independently and multi-task with minimal supervision and collaborate cooperatively with co-workers and supervisors and follow through on assignments promptly.
Ability to organize, provide, and maintain information with an attention to detail in a clear and concise manner, with strong analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills.
Ability to fulfill the five-day workweek and the established hours of the position and work extra hours as may be needed from time to time.
Ability to communicate clearly in both verbal and written form, including the ability to edit and tell engaging stories.
Ability to grasp future trends in digital technologies, act proactively, and remain open to learning new processes and facing new challenges.
Ability to handle extended periods of sitting or standing and handle frequent interruptions.
Handle light lifting and occasional filing.
