Responsibilities: Purchasing and expediting of electronic and machined components including castings, machined parts, metal fabrication, electronic components and MRO items. Negotiate best combination of price, quality and lead time from assigned suppliers.
REQUIREMENTS:
Purchasing in an industrial equipment manufacturing environment is preferred.
Ideal candidate must have high level of self motivation, strong organizational skills, follow through, detail oriented and ability to work well with others.
Good problem solving skills and the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
Computer skills important. AS400 a plus.
Minimum 2 years experience as a Buyer or comparable position preferred.
Good negotiating skills to obtin best price and deliver.
Experience in purchasing electrical or electronic parts a plus.
