Move Matcher has also quickly become a convenient resident service offered by tech-savvy, consumer-oriented properties across Chicagoland.
To educate property professionals and their residents about Move Matcher, we are seeking responsible, professional and enthusiastic Interns to assist our growing Property Partner outreach team. The ideal candidate will be both independently accountable and a team player, with experience exceeding volume-based goals and reporting to a manager supervisor. Qualified candidates will possess experience reporting directly to a supervisor and have entry-level experience in customer service, sales or working with the public. Candidates will be available to work summer 2018.
Interns will visit targeted lists of properties, engaging lobby and property management staff in learning about and adopting free Move Matcher resources. By being an upbeat, positive and trustworthy first impression to our future Property Partners, Move Matcher Interns will help Chicagoans make smarter, savvier moving choices.
Intern Duties and Responsibilities
Participate in brief training to learn and utilize key talking points, understand Move Matcher's services and practice "pitch" with peers
Motivate and earn commitment from property professionals to use Move Matcher's customizable resident referral tools
Visit 10+ targeted properties per day in Chicago and surrounding suburbs
Maintain a full pipeline of scheduled and unscheduled follow-up appointments resulting from property visits
Record, update and report outcomes in a database as well as directly to Partnership Manager
Intern Requirements and Qualifications
Minimum two full years of Bachelor's degree completed in business administration, marketing or relevant field
Previous work experience in customer service or other volunteer/paid public-facing role
Must be able to drive to 5-15 properties daily; must own a car and smartphone
Documented success in achieving volume-based goals
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
Passion for building connections and evangelizing helpful products
Interest in sharing experiences and ideas to help shape Move Matcher outreach

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
